Classic Essence
The Style Essences allow us to know how we want to be perceived so that we can express our personality more authentically. For example, you may belong to the Natural type (Kibbe morphology) but prefer a Dramatic Essence, which will create a blend of the two. You can also combine several Essences.
Don't pay too much attention to the physical descriptions, as there may be several exceptions. Trust your instincts. If this is a new subject for you, I suggest starting with the different Kibbe types.
The Classic Essence is the balance of Yin and Yang. People who possess it give an impression of formality and elegance. Their clothing styles reflect a form of aristocracy and timelessness.
The Classic Essence is ideal for physiques with a moderate body, meaning that no features appear prominent or irregular. It's not necessarily about being symmetrical, but simply about having a proportionate appearance as opposed to an atypical silhouette.
To reflect this Essence, you can incorporate the following elements into your outfits.
Timeless Shapes
This essence thrives on shapes that have stood the test of time and are just as elegant today as they were decades ago.
Balanced Silhouettes
Since this Essence is the balance between Yin and Yang, the best shapes are those that blend the two. For example, the skirt suit is a blend of the blazer (Yang) and the skirt (Yin). Similarly, dresses and coats are best when they are long (Yang) but with a fitted waist (Yin).
Quality Textiles
The fabrics should be made from natural materials such as silk, cashmere or velvet.
Neutral Colours
There's nothing unconventional about this Essence. It exudes a discreet elegance that complements neutral colours.
Timeless Patterns
Plain outfits are ideal, but patterns can be worn as long as they are discreet. Opt for timeless patterns such as houndstooth, gingham or damask.
Few Details
Prefer a simple silhouette with few details so as not to detract from the overall balance. Opt for classic, proportioned accessories with few embellishments.
Hairstyles and Makeup
The hairstyles should be neat, with rounded shapes and light curls. The medium-length cuts are ideal. Don't stray too far from your natural colour, it should remain realistic. The makeup should be classic and delicate, balanced between eyes and lips.
