Romantic Essence
The Style Essences allow us to know how we want to be perceived so that we can express our personality more authentically. For example, you may belong to the Natural type (Kibbe morphology) but prefer a Dramatic Essence, which will create a blend of the two. You can also combine several Essences.
Don't pay too much attention to the physical descriptions, as there may be several exceptions. Trust your instincts. If this is a new subject for you, I suggest starting with the different Kibbe types.
The Romantic Essence is Yin. People who possess it give an impression of intensity and glamour. Their clothing styles reflect extravagance and sensuality. Although it is Yin, like the Ingenue Essence, it has a more seductive appearance, as opposed to the softness of the latter.
The Romantic Essence is ideal for physiques with curves as opposed to an angular body. The eyes tend to be large and full lips.
To reflect this Essence, you can incorporate the following elements into your outfits.
Form-fitting Garments
The sensuality of this Essence is best expressed in garments that follow the curves of the body.
Draping
To follow your natural lines, clothes should drape delicately. The sharp angles and straight lines do not suit this Essence.
Luxurious Textures
Prefer luxurious fabrics with soft finishes like silk, cashmere and velvet.
The Colour Red
No colour expresses passion better than red, which is why it is so important in this Essence.
Floral Motifs
Whether for a complete outfit or a single detail or accessory, floral patterns are essential.
Dark Lace
Dark lace is perfect for this Essence, as it both conceals and reveals. It can be incorporated, for example, into sleeves, necklines or an entire garment.
Hairstyles and Makeup
The hairstyles should be neat and voluminous. Stay away from very geometric haircuts with neat edges. The makeup should be defined and sophisticated, highlighting eyes and/or lips.
