Ingenue Essence

The Style Essences allow us to know how we want to be perceived so that we can express our personality more authentically. For example, you may belong to the Natural type (Kibbe morphology) but prefer a Dramatic Essence, which will create a blend of the two. You can also combine several Essences.

Don't pay too much attention to the physical descriptions, as there may be several exceptions. Trust your instincts. If this is a new subject for you, I suggest starting with the different Kibbe types.

The Ingenue Essence is Yin. People who possess it give an impression of innocence and freshness. Their clothing styles reflect gentleness and delicacy.
Although it is Yin like the Romantic Essence, it has a cute appearance as opposed to the glamour of the latter.

The Ingenue Essence is ideal for physiques with small, rounded bodies. It's not necessarily about being short, but about having a compact rather than slender physique. The facial features are delicate and childlike, even in adulthood. The eyes are often round and large.

To reflect this Essence, you can incorporate the following elements into your outfits.

Compact Shapes

Prefer small, compact shapes, such as mini dresses, skirts and short jackets. The same applies to accessories, which should be proportionate and delicate. Long, oversized garments are not ideal for this Essence.

Vintage Styles

Vintage styles are perfect for this Essence, especially those from the 50s and 60s.

Pastel Colours

This Essence is delicate, not bold, so prefer soft colours like pastels.

Delicate Patterns

Prefer small, cute patterns like little flowers and polka dots.

Cute Details

Opt for delicate details such as ruffles, bows or embroidery. The simple designs are not ideal.

Light Lace

Light lace is perfect for this Essence. Darker laces are not recommended, as they do not give the same effect.

Hairstyles and Makeup

The hairstyles should be neat, with soft curls that delicately frame the face. Short and medium-length haircuts are ideal. The makeup should be light and luminous, with blended lines and soft tones.
