Dramatic Essence

The Style Essences allow us to know how we want to be perceived so that we can express our personality more authentically. For example, you may belong to the Natural type (Kibbe morphology) but prefer a Dramatic Essence, which will create a blend of the two. You can also combine several Essences.

Don't pay too much attention to the physical descriptions, as there may be several exceptions. Trust your instincts. If this is a new subject for you, I suggest starting with the different Kibbe types.

The Dramatic Essence is the most Yang. People who possess it give an impression of confidence and intensity. Their clothing styles reflect boldness and extravagance. Although it is Yang, like the Natural Essence, it is more theatrical in contrast to the simplicity of the latter.

The Dramatic Essence is ideal for physiques with straight, long, angular bodies. It's not necessarily about having a slim body, but simply a narrow, slender body as opposed to a small, rounded body. The facial features tend to be prominent and angular, such as the nose, cheekbones and jaw. The eyes may be close together, giving them a feline look.

To reflect this Essence, you can incorporate the following elements into your outfits.

Oversized Shapes

Persons with this essence don't look crushed or sloppy in oversized clothes, as long as they're structured, especially at the shoulders. Their silhouettes harmonise with clean, pronounced shapes.

Asymmetry

Natural angularity often creates slightly asymmetrical features, as a result, asymmetry in clothing is ideal.

Unusual Textures

Prefer very smooth or rough textures, matte or shiny, as this adds intensity to the outfit. Plain, simple textures can seem boring, especially if the shape of the garment does not follow the other principles of this Essence.

Bold Colours

Even if it's just one colour, it's important to be bold and dare to use saturated colours. You can create completely monochrome outfits or try more contrasting colour combinations.

Original Patterns

The patterns should be geometric or extravagant, for example, animal motifs, oversized, asymmetrical or very colourful.

Geometric Accessories

The accessories should be large and sharp. Opt for asymmetrical shapes with different colours and textures.

Hairstyles and Makeup

The hairstyles should be geometric and clean. Fringes should be straight or asymmetrical. Prefer very long or very short haircuts. The makeup should be intense and precise, highlighting the eyes and/or lips.
